First blue paint moment!

Well, I am happy to announce that with the majority of the TARDIS fabricated, Alison and I have primed and started painting the TARDIS! The base and columns are done, and walls are soon to follow.

For those following along, You will need a bit more than a gallon of paint, and three coats are necessary for the darker colors (like this one). In one of the pics below you can see what 1 coat looks like next to 2 coats. For the base, you see the full three coats of paint. The third one really makes it pop!

Also, I went with the Behr Cobalt Glaze paint after much searching around... I wanted a strong blue, but not so bright it will blind you.
